This is why we had to unswaddle him.

  1. Could you let me know what sunglasses you use for your son? They look like a good fit! It's so important to protect their eyes, especially when they have eczema to prevent early-onset cataracts! Please let me know!

  2. Hi! We found the sunglasses at Target. The strap is soft and has velcro in the back. The glasses are curved to fit.
Thanks for the tips on Vanicream! I'll check it out. I also did not know that chocolate can aggravate eczema. That is great to know. Thanks again!

  3. Thanks for the reply. Another thing I found helpful with my baby's stomach problems was probiotics - ethical nutrients. You have to try and get the non-dairy, no gluten, no soy type. The one I used from them was equivalent to a "non-dairy", but you should speak to them about that to see if it is "non-dairy" enough for your baby. It really helped with my baby. I started him on that when he had to go on oral antibiotics. If not for that, he would have had more stomach problems, I'm sure. I also avoid all nuts now. I was eating some cashews, but I don't think that was good for him. You might try sunflower seeds or pumpkin seeds (in moderation) - that doesn't seem to bother mine as long as I'm eating them in moderation and it helps me feel a little fuller. I feel like I'm starving all the time. I long for chocolate ice cream!

  4. Thank you for the rec, probiotics are definitely something I'm interested in learning more about. I have also considered sunflower seeds/sunbutter. I was at our local health food store and saw a jar of sunbutter but it said high source of vitamin E so I passed. I've read that soy intolerant individuals have a tough time with vitamin E. I wonder if it's just first hand vit E vs. mom's intake of vit E while breastfeeding though. Maybe I'll try out some sunflower seeds and see how it goes.
